INQ Mobile, 2011

INQ Mobile is a UK based mobile manufacturer genuinely focused on bringing social networking to the heart of the handset. For that reason, its handsets are often referred to as 'Facebook phones'. As a direct client, we had the chance to do a bit of everything from scratch: overall digital strategy, concepts and ideas, art direction and design. It turned out to be a broader digital branding project, in which principles initially created for digital could be easily adapted for offline medias.

1) WEBSITE ART DIRECTION / DESIGN

2) ICONS To convey the brand's attitude even in small details, a series of quirky, retro feel icons was created.

3) GENERATIVE SYSTEM A generative system was considered to produce random compositions, based on pre-defined rules and a concise library of assets. Unique visual outcomes would refer to the dynamic, ever-changing brand spirit. These visuals could be easily implemented in all sorts of print communications as well.

4) TYPEFACE A typeface was designed to go with some branded slides spread on the website.
